The U.S. Treasury is imposing sanctions on Venezuelan Vice President Tareck El Aissami, accusing him of being personally and significantly involved in the international narcotics trade.El Aissami’s designation as a “Foreign Narcotics Kingpin” on Monday means his assets in the U.S. are now frozen, and that U.S. citizens will be barred from doing business with him.
