Mr. Thompson will be speaking at the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Training Seminar and Workshop on October 12, 2016, under the auspices of Iowa State University’s Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS).

The Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS) will be offering an ITAR Training Seminar during the morning of October 12th in Cedar Rapids to introduce companies to The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and United States Munitions List. During the afternoon an ITAR Workshop will be held to provide hands-on experience in ITAR documentation. Attendees can participate in either the training seminar or workshop or both. Morning coffee and lunch will be provided.
Our trainer is the highly regarded international attorney and adjacent professor Mr. George W. Thompson who is based in in Washington D.C. He has served as an Attorney Advisor with the U.S. International Trade Commission. He currently is an adjacent professor with George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government; and operates a successful law firm representing domestic, foreign, and importing interests in trade remedy cases before the United States Commerce Department and International Trade Commission.
